How to Install Xenon HID Conversion Kit - Instructions For Motorcycle

Example

Tools needed: Drill, Bits, Allen key, Dremil

1. First take off the inner cowling covers on both sides.

2. Take off the headlight casing cover from the head light on both sides.

3. This is headlight casing cover.

4. Use dremil and make a round hole in the middle for rubber grommet to fit in.

5. This is how the xenon hid bulbs come in the kit.

6. Close up of the power wires that feed the xenon hid ballast, which you will need to take out.

7. This is Xenon Bulb with the power wires out. Make sure you pull it down by the big plug while holding the rubber grommet.

8. Make sure to close up of the power wires pulled out of the rubber gormet.

9. Drop down the wires from the hid bulb through the hole that we created in the dust cover.

10. Push through the rubber grommet in the hole created in the casing cover.

11. With proper installation, this is how the grommet should cover the hole that you made on the inside.

12. This is how the grommet should cover the hole that you made on the outside.

13. Take the power plug that you pulled out of the grommet and force the wires back in, one by one.

14.Both xenon bulbs ready for installation.

15.Take off the power plug from the original xenon bulb

16.Take out the original halogen bulb and install the Xenon HID bulb. Be careful, do not touch the HID Xenon bulb at any time.

17. Plug the wires into the original power plug. Black wire connects into the black wire on the plug. On the right side, pink goes to red. On the left side, blue goes to red as these are positive wires.

18.Pull the wires toward you carefully as you near the cover toward the headlight. Spin the rubber grommet if you need to line up the dust cover to the headlight. Now lock it in. The arrow should point up if it is locked in properly.

20.Mount ballasts on the under side of the cowling covers with nuts and bolts. Position the ballast in the proper place, drill holes for the bolts. Alternate method to mount is using industrial double sided tape or industrial Velcro.

21. This is top side of the cowling cover, then plug all the wires together and close up.
